This course enables the understanding and design of cross-sector digital ecosystems
This seminar examines how open and digital ecosystems are reshaping competition, collaboration and value creation. As financial services increasingly converge with e-commerce, healthcare, mobility, social media and other industries, firms need to understand how ecosystems are structured, how value is created across organisational boundaries, and how platforms, open banking, embedded finance and super apps enable new business models. The course is structured around three perspectives: ecosystem theory, ecosystem strategy and ecosystem design. Participants first develop a conceptual understanding of ecosystem dynamics and new value-creation logics, then explore strategic approaches and leading use cases from Switzerland, Europe and Asia, and finally apply these insights to the design of their own ecosystem opportunities.
This course is aimed at professionals who see the technological shift and trends in the finance sector and want to gain a deeper understanding of them.
