New Head of Marketing and Sales at Executive Education

The Executive Education at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Zurich is strengthening its leadership team: André Doutreval is taking on the role of Director of Marketing & Sales.

Doutreval brings over twenty years of international experience in marketing, sales, and strategic business development, including leadership roles at Bosch, Hilti, and Mettler-Toledo. He earned his Ph.D. in marketing and innovation management from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and combines a solid academic background with extensive practical experience in the industry.

In his new role, he will help shape the strategic development and positioning of UZH’s Executive Education program. A particular focus will be on the further development and growth of interdisciplinary continuing education programs, the consolidation of services to further enhance the customer experience, and networking with companies, partner organizations, and the broader innovation ecosystem of the Zurich region.

Executive education is becoming increasingly important in the context of digitalization, the transformation of labor markets, and artificial intelligence. The Executive Education at the University of Zurich sees itself as a platform at the intersection of academically grounded research, interdisciplinary knowledge, and the practical challenges facing business and society.
